Dr Nebras is currently a lecturer in Laser and Optoelectronic Engineering Department at the University of Technology, Iraq. he is granted his BSc degree in Physics in 1997 and then granted later his MSc in Laser Technology from Inistitude of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, University of Baghdad, Iraq in 2002. Since 2010, he joined the School of Physics, University College Dublin to pursue his PhD in Physics.

Dr. Nebras in optical design, spectroscopy, project management. Proficient in optical instruments development and testing. A communicator with excellent teamwork who educates others on complex issues and has the ability to gain support for ideas. Applies sound problem-solving skills to complex issues and has impact within related departments or areas. Takes pride in mentoring new team members. Professional who understands academic requirements and possesses technical knowledge within several disciplines.
