First Rank of University Classification
In the celebration of the founding of the Technological University (44) the forty-four on 17/4/2019,
the department of laser and optoelectronics engineering ranked as a first in the university classification.

18/3 Scientific activities of our students
The lecture was given to the students of the vocational secondary school of the General Directorate for Vocational Education on Monday 18/3/2019 with their supervisors to visit the labs of our department with 10 students. They included a scientific tour and the operation of our laboratories (laser system), (laser applications) and (Laboratory of Graduate Studies) has been explained the details of their experiments and scientific applications in addition to the concepts and basics and methods of operation of the laser and its applications.
Scientific activities of our students

Hadeel Jameel Thesis Defence
The thesis of Master's student Hadeel Jameel Omran was discussed in the field of laser engineering
(Optimization of laser parameters on engraving process for different materials) on Monday, 28/1/2019.
The thesis was accepted and the student was granted a master's degree
requirements of the syllabus
A report on the requirements of the syllabus for 1st year students for the academic year 2019-2020 was presented to the Presidency of the University of Technology and the achievement percentage was 90%
Visiting martyr monument
According to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the students of the fourth phase in our department visited the martyr monument on Sunday 24/3/2019.

The Department of Laser and Optoectronics Engineering held a workshop on the nature of the work of the career center with presence of different stages of the students of the department and the guidance and instructions regarding this division on 25/3/2019
