Department Activities for 2009-2010
The Engineering Department of Laser and Optoelectronics won the first prize for engineering at the Fourth Sovereign Festival
In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Youth and Sports and HE the Minister of Science and Technology and with the participation of the Technological University, the Fourth Sovereignty Festival was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the period from 28-30 May 2010. The participation of the Department of Laser and Optical Electronics with the university departments, A work was transferred to the venue of the festival by three of the teaching of the section are:
A - Dr. Mohammed Adnan Mahdi
Dr. Ayad Zwain Mohammed
C - Teacher Jasem Kazem Hammoud
The number of projects amounted to about 700 work presented by the participants in various specialties. The jury and evaluation of the participating exhibits were formed. The head of the laser engineering and optical electronics department was the assistant stadium Dr. Mohammed Hussein Ali. The projects were classified as follows:
