Modern Optoelectronics Applications
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Dr. Amin Douai Thamir, the seminar was held on Thursday, 13 April 2017, on the main hall in the Department of Control and Systems Engineering in our University. The symposium was initiated by the National Anthem and recitation by Hakim then read the Surat Al-Fatihah on the lives of the martyrs of Iraq.
The symposium included two sessions: the first session chaired by Prof. Dr. Farid Faris Rasheed, the scientific assistant of our department, and Dr. Abdul Hadi Kazem Al-Arabi, as Rapporteur. The session included two lectures: the first by Mr.D. (Iyad Zwain Mohammed) entitled:
"Optical fiber sensor application" and the second by Prof. Dr. Ivan Tariq Salem entitled "photonics from the mother natural to the future"
The second session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ayad Zouen Mohammed and Prof. Dr. Salah Eddin Adnan as a lecturer and included two lectures, "All optical OFDM system" and the second lecture entitled: "Integrated photonics application" by Dr. Makram Abdulmutallab Fakhri. At the end of the seminar, certificates were distributed to participants.
