Dr. Mohammed is a Professor of Laser Engineering at the department of Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering, University of Technology, Baghdad. Since 2015, he is appointed as the dean of the department.

Dr. Mohammed earned his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and M.Sc. and PhD. in Laser Technology from the Engineering military College (Al-Rasheed College for Science and Engineering), Iraq
