Aseel Abdul Ameer earned her M. Sc. in laser and optoelectronics Engineering from the Department of laser and optoelectronic Engineering at the AL –Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq in 2005. Aseel earned his bachelor’s degree in laser and optoelectronic engineering from college of engineering of al-nahrain university, Baghdad, Iraq in 2003. Aseel is a faculty member in the laser and optoelectronic Department at the University of Technology (UOT) since 2006. Her research interested focus on modeling and the simulation and design of optical components for laser and optical communication application..

she earned her Ph.D. degree in laser engineering from university of technology in 2023.
