The tutor Dr. (Abdullah Khudair Abbas) has been promoted from the rank of lecturer to the rank of assistant professor.

Patent 14/3/2018

Head of Department Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Wahab Minshed and Administrative Assistant Prof. Khalid Salem Shabib have received a patent and a new method for assessing thermal damage in tissues using laser.

Scientific Seminar

The Department of Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering held its scientific seminar entitled "Advanced Optoelectronics in Communication and Remote Sensing" on Thursday 19/4/2018 in the presence of a group of specialists in this field.

The thesis of the Master's Student (Nawras Zafer Hamza), optoelectronics engineering, was discussed, thesis title is:

(Reactive Laser Induced Forward of In₂O₃-NPfor sensor Applications )

on Monday 29/1/2018 . The thesis was accepted.

Our head of department Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahab Minshuid has received acceptance of patent entitled (New method of to asses the thermal damage in tissue by using laser)

Career Center Workshop

On 20 February 2018, our career center in our department held a workshop entitled "How to market Yourself" for graduates and students of the fourth stage in our department. The lecture was given by assistant lecturer Zahraa Sabeeh Qasim and senior engineer Khansaa Jaafar Abbas. The purpose of the workshop was to prepare graduates and students for the labor market by preparing for the interview and introducing the same and the curriculum vitae of the applicant.
