The thesis of the master's student (Raghad Nabeel Salman) specializing in Laser engineering was discussed for her thesis :

(Evaluation of the effect of laser shock on the corrosion resistance of stainless steel 304 based on image processing)

On Thursday 22/9/2022, the thesis was accepted and the student was awarded a master's degree

Prof. Dr. (Jassim K Humood), the head of the department, obtained a patent from the Ministry of Planning / Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control, numbered (7542) on 08/21/2022 entitled: 

(Design and Implementation of an Electric Spark Sedimentation System of Variable Voltage and Frequency)

Assistant Prof Dr. (Kareem Hussein Jawad), a member of our faculty, received a letter of thanks and appreciation from the president of the university due to the outstanding efforts in registering the patent entitled:

(a new method for preparing nanoparticles of bismuth oxide (Bi2O3) as a preservative for contact lenses against eye infections and studying applications biomedical).

Prof. Dr. (Moayad Yahya Khudair) particpated as a committee member in the defense session of the doctoral student’s thesis (Haider Rahman Taban) / Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies, entitled:

(Reference citations and their adequacy in evaluating the applications of scientific extraction of theses and dissertations according to functional characteristics: College of Administration and Economics, University of Kufa as a model)

The defense took place on Wednesday, 9/21/2022, in the Abdul Wahab Al-Wakeel Hall

Prof. Dr. (AbdulHadi K Judran) participated in a committee of the thesis defense of the doctoral student’s thesis (Ali Hassan Muhsen) / applied physics entitled:

( Preparation and characterization of biopolymer nanofiber for medical application using electro spinning method )

The defense took place on Tuesday 13/9/2022 in the hall of the Sciences Department
