Training Course 23/1/2018

Assistant Prof. Dr. Razi Jabr Shageth and Assistant Lecture Zahraa Sabeeh Qasim participated in the interactive system using the electronic classroom, training course which is located in the Electrical Engineering department from 23/1/2018 to 25/1/2018.

PhD. Seminar

The specialized committee discussed the seminar for the first semester of PhD. students / Laser engineering Branch (2017-2018) in our department on 23/1/ 2018. They are Hiba Hassan Abdullah, Luma Zuhair Mohammed, Shahad Emad Younis).

The University President inspected the conduct of examinations

The president of the university and the head of the department inspected the examination process in our department on Monday 22/1/2018. The exams were conducted smoothly and without any consideration point.

MSc. Thesis 20/12/2017

The thesis of the master's student (Marwa Mustafa Sami), of laser engineering, was discussed, the thesis entitled:

(Design and Implementation of PCF sensors using heterodyne detection)

On Wednesday, 20/12/2017, the letter was accepted and the student was granted a master's degree.

Patent 28/12/2017

Faculty members in our department (Dr. Abdul Hadi Khadim) and (Dr. Razi Gabr Shgheith) have obtained patent of the Ministry of Planning - Central Organization for Planning and Quality Control on 28/12/2017 entitled (a modern method of assessment and reduction Distortion of the cameras by automatic selection).

Patent 17/7/2017

The members of the faculty in our department (Dr. Abdel Hadi Khadim), (Dr. Ali Hadi Abdel Moneim), and (Dr. Ayad Zwayn Mohamed|), have obtained a patent of the Ministry of Planning, the Central Organization for Planning and Control Quality (17/7/2017) and entitled (use of Ortho-Toledaldehyde as anti-corrosion material).

The examination inspected

The administrative affairs assistant of the President of the University and the head of the department inspected the examination process in our department on Tuesday 9/1/2018. The exam was conducted smoothly and without any consideration point.

Volunteer Work

Under the supervision of the lecturer (Dr. Suad Mahmoud Kadhim) a group of students from our department conducted a voluntary work including cleaning the desks and some classroom furniture of the department and the maintenance of the classrooms on Wednesday, 13/12/2017
